The mountain style becomes urban: somewhere between wool and amphibians

Their name is self-explanatory: biking means excursions, and these boots (made for forest rangers) where made to withstand snow, rain and cold.

In the 80’s they were part of the Paninaro “uniform”.

Nowadays trekking ankle boots and “work” boots are also worn in the city: with jeans, with ribbed velvet trousers, leggings and large pullovers.

One must always pay attention to the proportions and gauge tight and large, to balance the boot’s bulkiness.

The crises has taught of choosing and when one learns to choose, often his taste is refined, he experiments new roads, feels the exhilaration of a new originality that he then cannot renounce.

Piombo tells:

“Large American clients always need a refined product, but not too refined.

A brand that distinguishes itself from the others, without, however losing the ease with which it can be worn, the market needs our product.”

Niche sales are now feeling a quality increase.

Piombo has always gathered ideas and colors from around the world, which he then unites even in irregular pairings.

PIOMBO, THE “LITTLE ONES” LAND IN NEW YORK

Barney’s Corner: it’s the turning point for the niche brand

The winds of men’s fashion are changing (for the better)

Ethiopian Cottons, Turkish terrycloth: The “impure” made in Italy of the fashion designer-businessman

Born in 1989, the Piombo brand now attempts the American adventure.

Massimo Piombo is a fashion designer businessman based in Varazze.

His philosophy is a romantic way of dressing, not standardized, playing with surprising contrasts and on a refined but wearable aspect

A style of a young, sophisticated man – precise and attentive to combinations – and a little snobbish, who however, has little to share with the extremes of certain dandy-types, always in the front row at the fashion shows.

The invitation to Barney’s is the proof that something in men’s clothing is changing.

“An Italian, Giuseppe Veronesi, understood our family brand better than we, who had invented it, had.

The legend of the America of the woodsman, of wide open spaces, of nature, translated into Italian fashion cities of the Paninari ”

That’s the great story of Timberland, magic – which still continues.
