RACHEL WEISZ, a “noir” actress

She distinguished herself thanks to a horror movie and a historical drama made her a household name. This English actress has chosen to dress in a modest style. For this reason alone she deserves (another) Oscar

This is a rare coincidence, an extraordinary actress who became famous for her role in a horror comedy, The Mummy, and won an Oscar as best supporting actress in the drama The Constant Gardener. She is not only beautiful, but very talented, capable of bringing richness to any role, selecting the most difficult ones such as that of Ipazia of Alexandria, a philosopher martyred at the hands of Christians, in the historical drama Agora. Marvelously young even at 43, she has a sober, yet decidedly modern style. And this is also rather extraordinary.
